New Site

Alright, so Borderline Games studios finally has a web site. I know this is coming late from someone who considers themself a web developer. I pulled my head out of my Perl studies long enough to finally design a few pages here. Why Perl? I have a project I consider my magnum opus that I want to bring to the world and I think Perl is my way to do so. More on this in future blogs.

It has been almost 5 months since Josh’s passing. Potions is seeing some forward progress finally after what was a long hiatus. It’s coming along nicely. I continue to acquire more assets to use in the game. I have some sounds I’ll be adding to the game this Friday. Lots of variations on broken glass so the game can sound a lot better afterwards.

We are close to a working demo. I also need to see if I can get Game Maker to accept another android compilation with my newest Android phone. I was able to successfully compile in the past, but that was not only with a previous version of Java, but also a previous version of Android. If I can’t compile to Android using GM1.4, where does that leave me? Maybe upgrading to GameMaker2.

I try not to talk about life, but it’s not the greatest lately. I’m hoping to find some satisfying work out there for myself. If your company is looking for a programmer, feel free to reach out. It’s easiest to reach me on Facebook – you can find a link to our Facebook page in the footer.

I hope to reach all of you in future blogs like this and may we all live on in perpetuity of some form or fashion.
